CEMS GLOBAL ALUMNI WEEK 2021: IMPULSE & PANEL DISCUSSION ON TALENT DIVERSITY

During this event, insights in the HR practices of multinational companies and startups in regard to talent diversity, will be discussed.

It is a globally organized week of activities that involve all CEMS stakeholders: Alumni, Students, CEMS Member Schools and Corporate/Social Partners. UPCOMING GLOBAL ELECTIVE WEEK
November 25th-30th
Don't miss out on the opportunity to apply for global online elective courses. This is a unique opportunity to choose a course from any CEMS school across the Alliance. You'll receive detailed information via email on Wednesday, November 25th. The registration will happen through Qualtrics. You'll be able to prioritize 3 selections. If not allocated in the first round, there's a second one with courses starting later in the Spring semester. This is a global offer for every CEMS student Class 2020/2021! Allocation happens randomly and one can only participate in one course.

CareerLunch is an initiative that allows talents to connect with top employers informally by meeting with their employees for an exchange over lunch. You will meet in a small setting of 1-3 directly with an employee––either at their workplace or virtually over a video call. This will give you the opportunity to get to know the company culture and everyday work authentically. LOCAL COVID UPDATES: NEW RESTRICTIONS

Travel curfew between 11:00 pm and 5:00 am in the 121 municipalities on weekdays.

Travel curfew between 1:00 pm and 5:00 am in the 121 municipalities on Saturday and Sunday.

Required to remain at home, leaving only for essential travel to work, grocery stores, banks, pharmacies, care for the elderly, and exercise.

Social engagements (events/celebrations) limited to 5 people (unless from the same household)

Commercial establishments must close at 10 pm, except take-out, pharmacies, doctor's offices, funeral homes, gas stations, and car rentals.

Restaurants must close at 10:30 pm, 6 people maximum per group (in entire country), unless from the same household

LOCAL COVID UPDATES: MUNICIPALITY LOCKDOWN
October 30th-November 3rd
As per the latest news from the Portuguese government, it will be forbidden to circulate between municipalities between 00h on October 30 and 23h59 on November 3. This is the weekend that coincides with the All Saints’ Day, on November 1.
The restrictions to mobility imposed from Oct. 30 to Nov. 3 are not applicable to students on their way from home to Schools/Universities. Presenting your student card will be enough to justify the need to circulate from your residency to campus.

LOCAL COVID UPDATES: 5 GOLDEN RULES FOR CAMPUS SAFETY

#1 Mask Up: Always wear a clean and dry mask on-campus, indoors and outdoors.
#2 Sanitize: Clean any surface before and after you use it.
#3 Distance: Maintain a safe distance and limit gatherings to 5 people.
#4 Display: Always visibly display your Nova SBE card.
#5 Report: Notify the respective office in case of a suspected case.

More than 10 CEMS clubs have come together to create "International Sustainable Meet-up", a zoom event that aims to bond us despite the many miles that exist between our clubs.
Held on the 24th, 12 am, take a break from your studies and join us for an hour of games, conversation, and meet your potential exchange-mates for the coming semester.
