Francisca (Spring 2015): The university is amazing. The building, the surroundings, the places to eat, everything is really good. The professors and classes were also very interesting, with interesting case studies and relevant pratical experiences. I also did the german course in order to have the requirement for the CEMS language and it was not difficult.
WORKLOAD
-
Previous students rated the workload to be moderate.

-
Leonie (Spring 2020): 13 Credits

-
Federico (Spring 2017): Very balanced

-
Francisca (Spring 2015): I felt like it was pretty chilled, especially compared to Nova. The business project naturally requires a bit more of work but apart from that it was completely okay. You have time to enjoy the city and to travel.
CITY LIFE
-
Previous students rated the city life to be amazing.
-
Previous students rated the nightlife to be amazing.

-
Leonie (Spring 2020): Moved there three weeks before COVID-19 started. Semester took place only online. However, Vienna is a beautiful city which I can totally recomment giving its high living quality

-
Federico (Spring 2017): Outstanding

-
Francisca (Spring 2015): The city is amazing, with a lot of interesting places to visit, a lot of culture and a lot of events always going on. Public transportation works really really well, you never wait more than 3 minutes for a metro and it covers pretty much the whole city. It's also really nice to just walk around. There are also a lot of really nice options in terms of restaurants, bars and clubs. I really enjoyed it, and for some reason it is always considered one of the best places to live in Europe. It is always very good to travel whithin Europe since it is very central.

-
Federico (Spring 2017): Very active CEMS community

-
Francisca (Spring 2015): There was a lot going on, a lot of events and trips organized. Really nice!
HOUSing
-
Previous students said it was easy to find accommodation.

-
Leonie (Spring 2020): Found a shared flat via wg.gesucht close to WU. Would recommend private housing over student housing. Student housing is nonetheless also okay. Rent between 300 - 500 EUR / month

-
Federico (Spring 2017): Great, a little hard to find but with the CEMS network it was easily solved (through another CEMSie leaving for exchange). A room is around 400/500 EUR per month.

-
Francisca (Spring 2015): I stayed in a student residence - Gasgasse, because I struggled finding a house to rent. The housing conditions were very good, I stayed in a private bedroom with a private bathroom, and shared a kitchen with 3 other people. The building was very recent and so everything was in good conditions. But it was also one the most expensive ones. The location is not the best, quite far from the university, and not the most central one. But since public transportation in Vienna is very good, I never felt like it was not a problem.

-
Francisca (Spring 2015): It's quite expensive, not crazy expensive but a bit more expensive than Portugal.
