ACADEMICS
-
Pedro (Fall 2017): Definitely recommend the Effective Negotiation (Stephen Nason) and Global Macroeconomics (Rao) ones. Project Management was weak.
WORKLOAD
-
Pedro (Fall 2017): Not light, but definitely tolerable to allow you to travel and discover.
CITY LIFE
-
Pedro (Fall 2017): HK may seem small, but it has wild islands, mountains, infinity pools, abandoned piers... And the crazy metropolitan Life with tons of things happening.
CEMS Life
-
Pedro (Fall 2017): CEMS Clubs depend on their members, but on my year, the community was quite close and active. A lot of trips and dinners planned, as well as some networking with local employers.
HOUSing
-
Pedro (Fall 2017): Quite expensive. Paid 700€/month for a 9sqm room. Stayed in LOHAS Park, a great residential complex close to HKUST. Other option would be to stay closer to the city centre, but prices would be higher for lower quality.
PRIce of one beer
-
Pedro (Fall 2017): Not a cheap city. A beer was pretty much the same price as in Lisbon, if bought in supermarkets.
