Universidad de los Andes School of Management (UASM) was founded in 1972 and is one of the twelve constituent schools of Universidad de los Andes (the others being architecture & design, arts & humanities, economics, education, engineering, government, law, medicine, sciences, and social sciences). UASM seeks to educate leaders through the appropriation and generation of knowledge for the innovative and sustainable development of organizations. It understands itself explicitly as a school of management (rather than as a business school) that serves not only the private sector, but also public and not-for-profit organizations. UASM is the only school in Colombia accredited by AACSB, EQUIS, and AMBA, and regularly occupies the first place in Colombian business school rankings.
